HR Tech Conference and Expo, 2015 Highlights

I am back from Las Vegas after attending the 18th Annual HR Technology Conference and Exposition®. Exaltive participated as an exhibitor at HR Tech event; we were present at the startup pavilion booth #850 attending hundreds of visitors enquiring about Video Guided technology.

Additionally, there was a considerable rise of 20% audience than last year along with a community of 8,000 and growing. Not to forget, 75 new products were launched in this event with more than 300 exhibiting companies viewed by more than 6,000 attendees.

While there is lot of innovation occurring in HR, Exaltive was in the unique position of having something that was completely new, and we were thrilled that our booth slogan of “Be Amazed” delivered on its promises. Furthermore, visitors to our booth experienced how video personalization and In-Video click interaction could recruit and drive measurable employee engagement.

The galvanizing event witnessed participation from major HCM, HR software leaders and rising stars of the globe. Here are some of the event highlights:

  1. Teamwork is your battery that energizes production- Marcus Buckingham, founder of The Marcus Buckingham Company and New York Times best-selling author, commenced the expo with his keynote by addressing the efficacy of team leaders. By building great teams, the organization races ahead and delivers exceptional output, fully handled by the team leader.

  2. The shift from record keeping system to a more and simplified system of engagement – Employee satisfaction plays an important role in retention of employees, period! SalesForce and Deloitte talked about Transforming Employee Engagement program as it showed the importance of a system that unleashes engagement and collaboration across employee network in the organization.

  3. Red Hat talked more about the need of leaders than managers. Leaders dive the organization to greater depths whereas managers confirm that every employee is moving in the same direction of the organization goal.

At the Exaltive booth, audience was amazed by the personalized interactive video experience in recruitment, onboarding, training and benefits. I was happy to answer questions ranging from Exaltive SaaS model, subscription options and how video analytics played an important role in mapping employee progress. We talked at lengths how personalization is used to gain attention and how interactivity can be leveraged to measure employee engagement through analytics. The ‘In a World’ event was the best session of the expo; it radiated the benefits of personalization. Cinematic experience punched in more attendees, impartation of analytics was the core reason behind this program. Immediate results showed a direction pacing towards growth.
